Refund policy

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the custom, handmade, and made-to-order nature of many of our artwork and products, custom items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

Each custom piece is created specifically for you, making every order unique and one of a kind.

Please note that slight variations in color, brushwork, texture, placement, and other artistic details are inherent to handmade artwork and are not considered defects. Additionally, colors may vary slightly between digital screens and the final printed or painted product.

Returns for Non-Custom Items

Non-custom, ready-to-ship items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Custom Commissions & Personalized Artwork

For custom commissions and personalized products, clients will have the opportunity to review and approve proofs, sketches, mockups, or design concepts when applicable.

Once approval has been provided and production has begun, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be offered due to changes in preference, design direction, spelling, content provided by the customer, or other subjective concerns.

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs and approvals prior to final production.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 7 days of receipt if your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item.

If there is an issue with your order, please email katie@weekendartcompany.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the damaged or incorrect item. We will evaluate the situation and work with you to make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Custom artwork and commissions

  • Personalized products

  • Made-to-order items

  • Hand-painted tote bags

  • Custom wedding artwork and stationery

  • Digital downloads

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards
